Terms of Service

Welcome to ThrowDown Darts. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ThrowDown Darts website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, registering for an event, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ThrowDown Darts provides tournament management, live scoring, brackets, leaderboards, player profiles, and related tools for darts organizations, leagues, and players. We are continually adding and improving features, and the Service may change over time.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

To use certain features you may need to create an account or be added to an organization by a tournament organizer. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Organizations & Player Data

Tournament organizers may create organizations, run events, and add or manage player records, including on behalf of players. Organizers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to add any player information they enter and for using player data in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure
  • Upload or transmit content that is harmful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise objectionable
  • Misuse player contact information, including for unsolicited marketing

5. SMS Notifications

ThrowDown offers optional SMS match alerts. Opting in to SMS is not required to use the Service and is collected separately from these Terms through a dedicated consent checkbox. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. For full details, see our SMS Terms & Conditions.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans, where offered, are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the rate disclosed at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by ThrowDown Darts and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Content you submit remains yours, and you grant us a license to host and display it solely to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, and we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party providers such as carriers or hosting services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThrowDown Darts will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
