Flat pricing

$10/month. Forever.

No per-player fees. No per-event fees. No surprise bills when your tournament grows from 16 to 64 players.

Phone-first

No tablets. No setup calls.

Score on a phone, run brackets on a phone, cast the TV display to any smart TV. Self-serve in five minutes, not two weeks.

Built for bars

Made for league night.

Cricket, 501, blind draw, cork calls, Venmo QR payments, cash pot math. The features come from sitting in a bar on a Saturday.

The honest version

Switching gets you more, not less.

What you keep

  • Single, double, and round-robin brackets
  • Live scoring on every device
  • Player leaderboards and stats
  • Per-event check-in
  • CSV export of every roster, event, and result

What you gain

  • Flat pricing that doesn't scale with attendance
  • Blind draw — one click, players paired into teams
  • Cash pot and payout split tracking
  • QR-code Venmo & CashApp registration
  • SMS notifications to every player (Twilio cost only)
  • Auto-rotating TV display for the bar
  • Full offline mode — score through dead wifi
  • Self-serve setup. No two-week lead time.

Worth being honest about: ThrowDown doesn’t yet do online singles play, ADO-sanctioned tournaments, DCTV broadcast integration, or hardware tablet rentals. If those define your league’s identity, stay on DartConnect. If they don’t, switch.

Three steps

Switch in under 30 minutes.

  1. 01

    Export your roster from DartConnect

DartConnect's league portal has a CSV export under league settings. Download the player list — that's the only thing you need.

  2. 02

    Start your ThrowDown free trial

Sign up, name your league, set your colors. 30 days free, no credit card. Takes about 5 minutes.

  3. 03

Run a side event on ThrowDown first

Don't cut your whole league over on day one. Run a charity tournament or a Sunday side event, let the players use it, and decide if it fits before the next season turnover.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered.

Can I import my DartConnect roster?+
Yes. Export your roster from DartConnect's league portal as a CSV, then import it on ThrowDown in a single screen. Most leagues migrate their full roster in under 10 minutes. If yours is complex (multiple divisions, custom fields), email [email protected] and we'll do it with you on a screen-share for free.
Do I have to cancel DartConnect before I can try ThrowDown?+
No. ThrowDown's 30-day free trial requires no credit card. Most leagues run a side tournament or charity event on ThrowDown first, see how it fits, and only cut over their main season at the next break.
What does ThrowDown actually cost?+
$10 per month, or $100 per year (which saves you $20). One plan, everything included — unlimited events, unlimited players, brackets, live scoring, TV display, cash and payout tracking, public registration with QR-code payments. No per-event fees. No per-player fees. The only additional cost is SMS notifications, which are billed at Twilio's pass-through rate (about a cent per message).
Do my players need to install an app?+
No. ThrowDown runs in the browser. Players sign up via a link, pay through a Venmo or CashApp QR code, and check their match status on a phone-friendly live page. The TV display is just a URL you open on the bar's smart TV. No app store, no install, nothing for players to download.
What if the bar's wifi craters mid-match?+
ThrowDown is offline-first. Scorekeepers can record an entire match without internet — scores queue locally and sync automatically when connectivity comes back. We built this because we got burned by bar wifi at our first tournament.
Can I run an ADO-sanctioned event on ThrowDown?+
Not yet. DartConnect is the official platform for ADO and WDF sanctioned events, and that's the right tool for those competitions. ThrowDown is built for unsanctioned bar leagues, house tournaments, charity events, and amusement-operator programming — which is the bulk of darts in America. Run sanctioned events on DartConnect, run everything else on ThrowDown.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
You can export your roster, events, and results to CSV anytime — even on a free trial. We retain your data for 90 days after cancellation in case you want to come back. After that it's permanently deleted.
Will my players see a different scoring interface?+
Yes — but they'll find it more familiar than you'd expect. Cricket, 501, 301, Cork Calls, blind draw — all the standard formats with the standard rules. Most players score their first match on ThrowDown without needing instructions.
